One Minute to Paalam / Adios!

Most all of us try to fill our daily calendars with as much activities and events we can in a given day. This drains and stresses us such our participation and performance in these events doesn't even meet our own standards. It doesn't bring out the best from us.

It would be best to lessen quantity and increase quality of our engagements and if you cannpt lessen quantities then here are two practices.
One Minute Arrive: Similar to Paalam
One Minute to Paalam: At the near end of every meeting as you are about to exit the door, stop. Stop, turn around and gently review the things you heard, you said and felt. Look at the people then find a quiet corner near the exit or a chair, sit down, close your eyes and just let the whole experience sink in. Then anchor you attention to you in breath and out breath for 60 seconds and do not think of anything else. Just mind your breath,
This will refresh you, make you more aware and consistently keep you in the here and now.
